PREVENTION OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK

1. Cover electrical outlets with safety caps when not in use.

2. Keep electric cords away from toddlers.

3. When not being used, unplug electric appliances with heating elements like hair dryers, curling irons.

4. Teach children not to touch electric appliances or light switches when standing on a wet floor.

5. Teach children not to have electric appliances like radios, or high dryers, while in the bathtub.

6. Teach children to avoid bodies of water, tall trees, and high ground during a thunderstorm.
